The time has come for the Road of Throes to be entered.
You are at a crossroads. It is twilight. A fog sweeps in from the north. A gibbet swings containing a well rotted carcass swings with a squeak.
A dirt track leads from the south to the north. A paved road leads east and west. You can just make out the lights of a village to east.
